I went to the Ski Rixen USA "cable park" with a group of friends this
past weekend for the first time. After I used up my 1 hour ski pass, I
shot pictures and videos of the others riding the cable way.
Us beginners had to start out on kneeboards and could not use the
"obstacles" (stunt ramps) with the rented equipment. Fortunately,
there were a few more advanced wakeboarders who put on a show for the
spectators on the sidelines.

Ski Rixen is the only cable park in South Florida but there are others
in the state such as Revolution Cable (North Ft. Myers), Orlando
Watersports Complex, and McCormicks Cable Park (Tampa).
It was a blast and a much more inexpensive way to experience
wakeboarding, kneeboarding or water skiing than being towed by a
motorboat. I highly recommend a visit if you'll be in the area.
