Sooooo..... as I get older my feet have been playing tricks on me. First
they change from size 10.5 to 11.5 so I have to get a bunch of new shoes,
now (a few years later) they seem to have gotten wider.
I have been wearing Ecco Track boots and liking them a lot. One pair
(older) is narrower than the other pair and I find that when I wear the
narrower pair, the big joint of my great toe has big pain (esp. when
walking down steep hills).
So I think I need to move up to a wide shoe (E or EE). Unfortunately, ECCO
does not make boots in wide sizes. I am right now trying a pair of Vasque
Sundowners as replacements (China made version), and am not sure if they
are good enough.
I am looking for suggestions for ~6" high boots like the Ecco Track boot,
that are available in wide sizes.
Thanks,
gr

Good luck dude
My size went from 12 to 14 as I got older. My last new pair of boots
required about 15 different store visits and trying on perhaps 40 pair.
Ended up with some Merrills and they are great. YMMV.

Not too impressed with the Vasque, so they are going back. Sierra
