We went to the Miami MetroZoo for the first time last weekend. It
probably wasn't the best day to go since the temperature was about 95
degrees. So some of the animals seemed a bit sluggish but it was still
a fun trip.
The new Amazon & Beyond exhibit opens up in the fall, so I plan on
going back again to see that when the weather will be cooler.
I took about 170 pictures and posted them in this gallery -

If you plan on going yourself, get there early, bring plenty of water
bottles and consider renting a safari cycle. The entire loop around
the zoo is about 3 miles long.
