We flew in spring 2007 from Zurich to Canada (Calgary) by British
Airways. Only 3 out of 6 pieces of luggage arrived at the destination
and caused a delay of our vacation. The lost baggage arrived 1-2 weeks
later and compelled us to postpone the flight back to Zurich. The
official price for a change of flight is sfr. 300.00 (ca. $ 260) for 2
tickets. I called BA on April 17 and asked for a change, hoping that
they would not charge us nothing, because BA caused all the trouble
due to the lost baggage. On the phone BA confirmed me a new flight to
Zurich. On April 22 we actually flew back from Calgary to Zurich.

When I received my monthly credit-card account, I was very much
astonished. On April 17 BA charged me sfr. 350.05 and on April 22
another sfr. 306.22! Instead of a free change of flight, BA charged me
twice and that at a higher price than promised. I called BA and was
told that I should write to the BA office in Bremen (Germany). I asked
them to send me the money back immediately. No answer, another letter,
still no answer. Then I asked the credit-card company to take care.
Two months later they wrote me a letter, telling me that BA is not
inclined to pay and the credit-card company cannot help me, because a
refund must be requested within 30 days after the suspected fraud.

I once had, British Airways overcharged me for a ticket, I tried
calling them but they have such terrible customer support, so I was
left helpless, I went straight to my credit card disputed the amount
overcharged, and of course BA did not respond to it, so after 60 days
my credit became permenant, I cant beleive your credit card gives you
only 30 days to dispute, especialy in such a case.
