We took some out of town visitors to the Everglades National Park in
Homestead this past weekend. At $10 per vehicle, it was a fun yet
inexpensive outing. It was my second time visiting the park. I saw a
lot more alligators swimming and basking in the sun this time. My
favorite part was seeing these bright yellow/orange grasshoppers.

I highly recommend a visit if you'll be in the area. Be sure to bring
plenty of water and sun block. The heat and humidity are intense this
time of year.
