I went to the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens here in Fort Lauderdale to
photograph the Brazilian Squirrel monkeys that live on the grounds. I
ended up seeing a nice variety of other wildlife as well.
It's a bit pricey at $20 per person, but you can opt to just pay $10
to walk around the gardens and skip the house tour.
If you live in South Florida or plan on visiting the area, I highly
recommend a visit.
