Sorry for all the cross-posts. Figured this would reach people who love
the White Mountains of NH. Anyway, a part of my childhood is
disappearing forever next Sunday, Oct 22nd. Heritage House in Glen, NH
- a walk through (a bit like a "dark ride") of NH's history, using
movie-style sets, is closing.

Does anyone have a video walk through of the place before it is
presumably torn down? Anyone care to make one? I no longer live in NH
so I'm unable to do so.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone here even been to Heritage House? It was a unique walkthrough
attraction that had similar effects to Haunted Mansion, except that it
was a walk through NH's history. I have fond memories of it as a child.
I'm hoping someone creates a video walkthrough of the place before the
doors shut forever next Sunday.

I have been 4 or 5 times as I live in Boston. And have gone in when I
have went to Storyland right next door.

It was an OK place but over the years I saw it go down hill. (CableCar
being removed and such) But when I found out they were going to close
for good I made one more trip to it this summer back in July.

It's been over a decade since I was there last. Did they make any other
changes? Wonder why they removed that.

I miss Whalom Park too. Not a terrific park, but you don't see a lot of
old style fun houses like one they had.

I went when I was a kid.. And with ADD I was more about getting out and
running over to Storyland.. Not wanting to learn about NH State History
;)

But yeah this years vist I saw 4 or 5 things that had changed fromn
vists I took when I was a kid.

The cable car that was outside that you could ride along side the place
was gone. No signs of it ever being there were found. Inside where the
"hot air ballon" room was.. Was gone. (It was also a photo spot area)

Things that were new - You could ride a Segway if you were over 18.

Here isa topic about the place with some photos -
