Someone someday should write an interesting book on the depth of
penetration of getting spys into terrorist groups such as AlQueda. So
that things like Guantamo enemy combatants held for perhaps recruiting
more agents into the terror groups and the "affectiveness to terror
code alerts".
We all now know that SH of Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction
simply because our intelligence was rather rotten and lousy. But the
recent code Orange terror alert for the closing weeks of 2003, how
much CIA intelligence was good behind that code rating.
I am saying something good about the Bush Admin dealing with the
Guantanimo Enemy Combatants, in that it is a means of recruiting spys
to spy upon the terror groups. So that maybe in a War on Terrorism,
that we gladly round up enemy combatants for the purpose of recruiting
them to spy upon terrorists. And that the courts and judges and civil
liberties groups should cut the Bush admin some slack in that the
enemy-combatants are a nice source for creating spy moles on terrorist
groups.
Now we know that the Intelligence information to Mr.Bush to invade
Iraq was a lousy batch of intelligence and one can describe it as
"disintelligence". But let us ask the question about the Intelligence
governing the recent code Orange alert in the last weeks of year 2003.
Was it as lousy of intelligence as the Iraq intelligence of
weapons-of-mass destruction? Or was the Orange code based on rather
good intelligence?
So I must compliment the Bush team for making use of Enemy Combatants
in that if they can be used as spy moles.
