There are neutrinos everywhere, of 3 or 4 flavors.
OK,
Feynman did say Le Sage particles could not exists, because then
the earth would slow down, moving through these.
But the earth is moving through zillions of neutrinos.
It should slow down!
These thingies do not interact a lot, but earth is big, and it has
had many millions of years to slow.
Or do they fly along?
What is up? |

Le Sage gravity is an impulse theory of gravitation. It depends on
massive bodies, for instance the planets, being largely opaque to the
passage of the Le Sage particles. Neutrinos interact exceedingly
weakly; 99.9...9% of them pass uninhibited through Earth. Only a tiny
fraction of the neutrino flux exchanges any energy & momentum with
gross matter, and is negligible. A planet's orbital path is much more
influenced by other solar wind particles, and that mainly imparts an
outward pressure.

Idiot. What is the interaction cross-section for neutrons with
matter?
Idiot. A neutrino has a ~50% change of interacting during a lightyear
path through solid lead.
Idiot. How many lightyears wide is the Earth?
Idiot. Compare Earth's interactions with solar neutrinos to Earth's
interaction with soalr photons, the solar constant being 1373 W/m^2 at
Earth's average orbital radius.

Idiot.

Right. It's slowing down. What makes you think it isn't ?
Go figure.

Well, I get the hang of Uncle Al, you grabbed the photons from the other[/quote:0a78b123fc]
posters reply.
Added the word idiot.
The only science is the lead part.
It would have sufficed to just mention that, or NUMBERS, but then numbers
you do not know about, as your chiral changes near lightspeed illusions prove.
Not even GR or SR.
So ignorant, about neutrinos, sure I am.
But not as much a nut case as you diamondboy. |
