I'd like to thank everyone who shared their comments in
discussions here. Thanks to these discussions I have been able to
learn quicker than I would do on my own, even though my work [on VMPC]
has been mostly an individual one.

Thanks to these discussions and thanks to several people who also
shared their opinions, comment and results in private, I have been
able to improve my paper describing VMPC - the result of my 5-year
adventure with cryptography.

The paper has now been accepted for presentation at the FSE 2004
Conference in India (see http://www.isical.ac.in/~fse2004/ , section
"Accepted Papers")

The FSE paper is a combined and style-refined version of the two
papers "VMPC One-Way Function" and "VMPC Stream Cipher". I will make
it available as soon as I can, also in LaTeX and DVI format, through
the VMPC website http://www.vmpcfunction.com

Congradulations. Just keep in mind that just because your paper was
accepted for print doesn't mean it's strong. Presumably your paper is a bit
more complete then the stuff you have offered here [cuz quite frankly I
don't see how any competent reviewer would accept half of the stuff you
write here]. I look forward to reading any pre-prints you have to offer.
Should be interesting.

As I said in the private email apply for a stipend if you can't afford the
trip. If you're presenting they'll put ya to the top of the list of
stipends.
