Phrase of the week :
"There is no doubt that great revolutions of human scientific
thought will occur in the next century, and in the century after
that, and in thousands of centuries afterward. So which of our
current pet scientific dogmas will be among the first washed away
by new facts and sudden clarities?" -- Anonymous

Seasons Best,
Frederick Martin McNeill

Thank you once again....
for stories that show the Season can be magical.

An old story, but a pretty good one:

( Francis P. Church's editorial,
"Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" was
an immediate sensation, and went on to became
one of the most famous editorials ever written.)

Thanks,
Dare

Some good ones there (Mannheim Steamroller is nice). Brings back fond
childhood memories. I like Harry Connick Jr's "When My Heart Finds
Christmas" . . . his superb voice backed up by some great brass (sample
songs here: http://tinyurl.com/ysrog). I've even been know to listen to it
in the middle of summer.

I have the first Mannheim Steamroller Christmas album from '84. I
still
dig it. "Bring a Torch Jeannette, Isabella" makes me cry. Harry
Connick Jr.? Naw. I prefer Frank Sinatra.

Merry Christmas to you and all!!!

Wordsmith Smile

PS If Santa doesn't bring me a new 'puter, well, he can blow it out
his chimney! *LOL*

Frank is the man. Good luck on that new puter, and have a merry one
yourself!
