As a social being
human needs freedom
but always fails to define it.

Like trying to measure things with a rubber ruler. Psychology is therefore
groundless.

Thanks.

Psychology is an objective a science as is car mechanics or astronomy.
However,
it's best to get it from books, practicing psychologists are often 1/4 of what
the founders
of the discipline were.

That is, unless you discern the objective from the subjective, in which case
it becomes one of the most subjective topics ever studied being surpassed
only by art and some other offbeat humanities.

Astronomy is %100 math and physics, the only subjective part of astronomy
has been isolated and relegated to it's own subfield which is cosmology or
cosmogony - the "origins of the universe" which is extremely tenuous even
though the common teachings take these things as fact.

The practice of psychology is %0 math. I think that you'd need more math as
an auto mechanic, and the practice of fixing cars and the methodologies
which are used typically rely on principles of reproducibility,
falsifiability etc. But for some reason mechanics are not considered
scientists by anyone, and psychologists are calling themselves scientists !!
Go figure - : o
