There are people within the US Army itself that don't seem to appreciate the
contribution of Veterans, and wish to gratuitously insult them.

Here's a partial post from someone calling themselves "Zach"
(Z_Everson@yahoo.com), in article
news:38b5e082.0311100602.1b78bbfe@posting.google.com (he must have thought
he was anonymous when using Google to post):

Quote:
You know, veterans might find it easier to get more benefits if it
didn't look like they spent all of their money on patches, pins, and
leather vests.

Minorities love fondling groceries.

If a country has "Democratic Republic" in its name, it isn't one.

The above was posted from IP address [141.116.248.129], which resolves to
host-141-116-248-129.ptr.hqda.pentagon.mil, belonging to "Army Information
Systems Command-Pentagon PENTNET1"

I'm reasonably certain that Zach's comments on the day before a Veteran's
Day Holiday, being made as they were using U.S. Government computer
equipment, time and networks, are probably about all his job is worth.

Your tax dollars at work.

But that's redundent though. If an IP address resolves to the Pentagon it
automatically
means it's somebody on the Homeland Security Program using Excel.
So it automatically implies moron, Army or not.

Not exactly.

I'm not sure who is insulting who. See what you think.

I wondered why only a "partial" post. Perhaps reading theentire
message posted to the <rec.humor>, and only to the <rec.humor>,
newsgroup, will help to form a more accurate impression. These
appear to be a series of one-liner stand-up comedy lines -- some
good, most bad, but in context not particularly insulting. I'm a
veteran. I'm not insulted. But then, I don't own a leather vest
full of patches and pins.

Eight quickies is enough

http://www.zacheverson.com/Humor/Columns/eight_quickies_enough.htm

Does anyone else feel guilty when someone holds the door for you to
go into a public restroom and then you drop some serious ass while he
is taking a leak?

I miss the sniper. He kept people 'round DC on their toes.

The movie looks horrible, but "Pay it Forward" seems like a great
concept. I believe in paying it backwards too. The other day a flight
attendant talked to me in a condescending manner, so I urinated all
over the bathroom. I figured another passenger would see it and
complain to the flight attendant or vow not to fly that airline again.

Is there any interest in my adding a section to this site of nude
pictures of myself?

I used to subscribe to Black Hair, but they cancelled my subscription
once they found out I'm a balding pasty-white guy.

I just came to the conclusion that my genitals are the envy of
barnyard animals everywhere.

Why does Playboy TV show penetration but not money shots? Where
exactly is the line between hardcore and softcore?

Most jobs that require uniforms do so because the employees lack the
mental wherewithal to dress themselves.

Old people love following rules.

I preferred 80s Bush ‹ both the president and the female pubic
region. It was a kinder, gentler Bush.

Road construction sites in South Carolina are all marked with signs
saying "Let 'em work; let 'em live." Does anyone not let them work?
Do people pretend that they are going to drive into them to fuck with
them? Or do people stop and ask them directions?

What's the biological reason for swamp ass?

If it weren't for Mike Tyson documentaries, would Robin Givens even
be on TV?

The Olympics' website refers to itself as "The Official Website of
the Olympic Movement." I thought I copyrighted that phrase a few
months ago when I wrote about the time I ate too much McDonald's in
Times Square.

My hair must consider my rear Mecca ‹ a few years ago it started a
pilgrimage from my head down my back and seems to have stopped at my
butt.

Will someone please have an intervention for Lou Pinella? Thank you.

I am cursed with an averaged-sized dinky, but even worse, I have big
balls, which makes it look even smaller.

It's not cheating unless you get the other girl pregnant.

Helen Keller is too pretentious for me. How the hell did she get off
being a writer? If I was blind, deaf, and mute, I'd do nothing all
day but wallow in my own feces, drinking mai-tais, and masturbating.

I hate people who hug and kiss their friends. I don't touch people
unless we're making out or fighting.

Speaking of Helen Keller, many people consider humans' ability to
communicate the trait that differentiates us from animals. That logic
begs the question: if someone had sex with Helen Keller before she
learned to communicate, would he or she be committing bestiality?

Anytime a reporter prefaces a question with "I'm sorry to have to ask
this, but people are asking..." it's like when someone tells a story
about someone else, but it's really about him and he's just too
scared to admit to being the subject of the story.

One of my favorite things about riding the Metro is getting drunk on
someone else's breath.

He who lives in a glass house should not throw stones ‹ or shit,
because do you really want your neighbors watching you take a dump?

My dad passes so much gas that sometimes my parents' bedroom smells
like Auschwitz.

You know, veterans might find it easier to get more benefits if it
didn't look like they spent all of their money on patches, pins, and
leather vests.

If a news outlet has to advertise that it's "fair and balanced," it's
not.

Minorities love fondling groceries.

If a country has "Democratic Republic" in its name, it isn't one.

I don't know, but since US vets own more hand grenades than
the US Army does, I think you're an idiot.
