There are people within the US Army itself that don't seem to appreciate the
contribution of Veterans, and wish to gratuitously insult them.
Here's a partial post from someone calling themselves "Zach"
(Z_Everson@yahoo.com), in article

But that's redundent though. If an IP address resolves to the Pentagon it
automatically

I wondered why only a "partial" post. Perhaps reading theentire
message posted to the <rec.humor>, and only to the <rec.humor>,
newsgroup, will help to form a more accurate impression. These
appear to be a series of one-liner stand-up comedy lines -- some
good, most bad, but in context not particularly insulting. I'm a
veteran. I'm not insulted. But then, I don't own a leather vest
