Hello all. The other day I was at a local military museum which has in
its collection, among other things, a working T-72 tank. Now, the
curator of the museum told me that when it first arrived, it would not
start because the compressor was broken. Could anyone tell me why the
T-72 requires a compressor to start the diesel? Thanks.
