Dear Madam,
Here we have a female newspaper editor running two articles by a female (Deidre Mussen, Sunday
Star-Times November 9th 2003) about how a woman (Celia Lashlie) has the gall to think she can solve
some supposed problem with boys by telling them what they should aspire to ! You are all completely
mad ! But you are not so mad as the principals of the secondary schools who put a woman in charge
of this project in the first place.
How can boys possibly develop meaningful goals and self-esteem if their school principals are so
loony as to put a *woman* in charge of telling them what their goals should be ? This is just a
symptom, however, of the basic problem that New Zealand (especially the education sector and the
media) is dominated by selfish and stupid women, who constantly judge males according to how closely
they approximate to females in their thinking and behaviour. That is the problem, and pretending
that boys themselves are the problem is just the usual feminist fantasy that has been destroying
boys' self-confidence for decades.
Your predecessor (or was it you yourself ?) wrote an editorial ( September 7th 2003) in which she
said men should apologise for having penises, and that it was usually blokes that did the
wife-beating ! That combination of penis-envy, man-hatred (misandry), and utter stupidity enables
a woman to become the editor of a nationwide newspaper -- yet I would not, as a pro-men man, have
the slightest hope of getting a job as a journalist on a major newspaper. Stupidity and anti-male
Sexism are prerequisites for employability in most areas involving indoctrination (the media and the
education system).
Although claims are made that Political Correctness is a problem, in fact the whole project is
corrupted by Feminist Political Correctness through and through. Nelson College headmaster Salvi
Gargiulo comes out with irrelevancies such as:
- "It's about getting boys talking about emotions,"
and Celia Lashlie says that:
- alcohol use and homophobia are rife and need addressing.
Homophobia and alcohol use may well need to be addressed, from a moral and health point of view, but
they are part of a completely different (even hostile) agenda to an agenda that aims to restore most
boys' self-worth as boys. And it is absolutely ludicrous to say that boys should talk about their
emotions. That is what girls do -- and it leads to the betrayal of secrets and malicious gossip.
Men deal with their problems, generally speaking, by going off and doing something totally
different. There has never been any evidence (that I have heard of) provided by the
female-dominated Psychology/Psychiatry industry that talking about emotions works for males -- or,
indeed, for anyone. Freud started this off by chatting to middle-class Viennese women, and since
then the mental health of the Western World has gone rapidly downhill !
We don't need a bullying "Good Man Project". What we need is a Good Woman Project, and I volunteer
to run it ! We need to run compulsory courses for all female teachers, lecturers, journalists and
union officials, in order to deprogram them from all the self-centred stupidity that have learned
under labels such as "Feminism" or "Women's Movement", etc..
Yours sincerely,

He's probably been watching that women's day
advertisement on TV ... "smarter than men in
every way" ... etc etc ( gag - puke ). If it pisses
a mild mannered fellow like myself off, I imagine
it must just about cause Zohrab to burst an artery.

Zohrab always writes interesting letters that raise good points.
Most often tho, they're followed up by off topic pointless
remarks from some apparently illiterate ignorant swine.
That's nz.general for you.
Zohrab deserves credit for his persistence and courage.

I wish you'd avoided the personal attacks in your post, because the rest
of it was very good.
Boys need male role models and opportunities to compete with each other.
in various fields. The education system prefers a "all must have prizes"
approach and discourages competition. Role models? Few and far between
these days. The odd sportsman here and there, but that's it. |

What of it? He's pissed off, and he damnwell should be. He didn't

boys should be indoctrinated to deal with their emotions in the same
way girls do.

Indeed, gossiping women apparently run his country, and he's still not
afraid to get in their faces. Think you would have as much nerve?

Dear Madam,
You show her far more respect than she deserves.
[...]
Quote: How can boys possibly develop meaningful goals and self-esteem if their

loony as to put a *woman* in charge of telling them what their goals
should be ?
I don't really think the woman will do that. I think she will instead
use whatever means she has to make them as much like girls as
possible, and she will tell them that their kind are responsible for
rape, war, and numerous other evils. This will dehumanize them and
make them angry, which may lead to problems later in life.
But if one gives her the benefit of the doubt, and if one assumes she
really will try to help them, the effort will be futile. The boys
will turn her off, because boys don't really listen to women, even
their mothers. Ask any father if this is true. Ask him if he's ever
seen his wife tell their child to stop doing something over and over
again. Ask if he has then walked up, ordered the child to stop, and
watched the child stop immediately.
I noticed this at school and day care. We tended to ignore the women,
because they were always nagging us anyway, but when the lone man came
in and told us to quiet down, we did. And he only had to say it once.
The difference? Respect.
Face it, ladies. You don't get as much respect from little boys as
men do. You can decry it all you like, and call them little sexists,
and write columns on why this should not be so, and stomp your tiny
feet until it snows in hell. But you won't change anything, because
they're boys, and they're behaving naturally. So put a man in charge
of this. You might actually accomplish something for once.
