Due to fears that Lake Parker has been contaminated with crypto,
the lake has been closed. Swimming pools in Arlington are also
being closed for a day while they are being given a triple-normal
dose of chlorine to kill the crypto and any other bugs that may
have contaminated them. Symptoms of crypto include diarrhea.

Gee, do you think we could have any more NSA fear-mongering over
the private use of cryptography?

Oh, you mean cryptosporin isn't a cipher algorithm? Never mind.

It was Berger's Lake, a spring fed swimming hole, and it was
contaminated by a specific carrier person who left a deposit. In my
youth, I was there many times but like public swimming pools, the
first day of the season is the most safe.

Consider circumstances like a computer virus and functionality
modified, perhaps intrusion of it might be prevented but the existing
filters and prophylactic countermeasures might also prove inadequate.
User beware.
