Hi, I am currently using QTOF-MS to do Collision induced dissociation
(CID) of oligos, however, the abundance of the CID fragments are very
low (below 20 counts), I have tried to increase the sample amount by 4
fold, but that only increased the CID fragment abundance by about 1.5
fold. I wonder if there is any setting which is not right? Is it
possible to increase the CID fragment ion abundance solely by
adjusting the MS or MS/MS parameters? If yes, which setting should I
change?
Please give me some advice. Thanks a million.
