NGen to supply hydrogen to the world car market as an offshoot....

Subject: Nanohydrogenerator Mk II with JIT Processing

Due to developments in the nanoextraction of hydrogen from sea water,
the hydrogenerator has been revised with this cheaper and more
efficient system.

Regarding the dangers in storing vast ammounts of hydrogen we at NGen
have instituted a "Just In Time" Processing Model allowing with
pipeline and in-situ sea water extraction, the process of safe,
secure- ease power generation on massive scales...

Of course conversion of coal fired steam turbine power stations is
our stated and achievable goal, we will diversify to requirements...

NGen secures deal to provide hydrogen to the Service station / Garage
industry

As a sideline to our massive ability to generate hydrogen, NGen has
secured the
rights to supply hydrogen to the car market. We are in talks to
franchise the NGen
name for garages and petrol station use. Also talks with some of the
major players
are seeming fruitful for the continued supply of hydrogen for
vehicles...

SORRY OPEC, We gave you so many chances, now it is time for super
cession.....

Patent office arms race will hurt nanotechnology

There's an arms race between government patent offices and patent
filers assisted by private law firms. The folks who work for the
former get paid a lot less than the those who work for the latter.
This leads to a continual drain away from government review of patent
applications toward private generation of patent applications. A San
Jose Mercury News blog entry explains more of the problem, which will
affect all areas of technology but especially new, complex,
multidisciplinary
ones such as nanotechnology:

1) Ok Man, This sounds good but Why you celebrate and make an
Excuse that the product won't come out due to Patenting
Problem?

2) Assuming you pick the right materials to extract hydrogen,
Keep in mind Sea water is highly conductive, you will put lots
of current and heat through your electrolysis. How about a
video on UTube?

3) Be sure to check your water temperature after 20-minutes,
and beware you should expect 200-250 degree F, that should
boil your water, and it will produce Vapor (H2O)) to kill your
car engine.

Unfortunately, I have to agree, it is "utter gobbledygook." There's not one
word of where the energy comes from. They make it sound like they just suck
it out of the ocean with their magic nanogenerator! How ridiculous.

Alright you two are a good but Don't throw out the door AFS
Trinity's Technology yet, I know they exaggerate a bit, but I
still try to see what have they improved in terms of Battery.
It takes as much as 150hp to move an SUV from ground Zero, how
can they claim being able to go 40 miles before you drain off
completely. 150m/g is only their Math Theory, it's not a real
life test, they exclude the 12-24hrs charging time, but it's
good if they can really go 40miles. I bet they tested it on a
straight road.

It would help if you learnt the differences between energy, power, mass,
momentum, acceleration, speed, amps, and distance for starters.

May have forgotten something there, but a good start.

Excuse me theloneranger,
I can start an SUV moving with less that 1 HP.
why does it need 150hp to move in your world?
I mean it won't move quickly of course,
but it can move with a little as.. 1hp for a fact.
and
In fact, I can make an SUV move up an incline with
as little as 1 lb of force and maybe even less.
(again, it will take a long time to move it)
But it will move as long as the tires are not flat.
:)

Technology is wonderful.
especially that old lever and fulcrum stuff.
It has the power to make 1 lb move 1000's of them
:)

Read what Eeyore said about power, energy, force, etc. Your fulcrum comment
is a nonsequitur.

If you tried to run your SUV on one HP, you'd get run over by a Greyhound
bus.

Even an ordinary greyhound would do.

My fulcrum comment fit in with what I stated.
It is wonderful.
And it has to to with making more force come from less force
so it is not.... nonsequitor except to those that are ignoring "forces"
in this thread (maybe that is you)

Silly man,
I would have a 1HP motor charging a bank of batteries
to be used when needed.
No prob with the bus, since I would stay at home and charge it
and then drive my 30 miles or more at whatever normal speeds
of any ICE powered SUV, just not as far... and I would drive
such without any fear of the Greyhound catching up.
Sheesh!
no hybrid thoughts in your brain at all huh?

Yet another that has forgotten about hybrid tech..
1 hp charging batteries.. does not make only 1hp
in the final outcome.
sheesh!
Freakin know it alls that hardly know it all.

Why do we not see this level of abject ignorance in Europe, Asia etc ?

It really baffles me that world's most wealthy and powerful country seems
also to have a phenomenal percentage of the most ignorant.

Religion maybe ?

The ignorance that 1hp can produce more than 1hp over time?
That is your ignorance, not a race or country's ignorance.

Stated perfectally well by an anti-american puke.
The religion you belong to is called "anti-america" and you are one of
the bad singers in your church.

If believing that a 1hp engine charging batteries can later
have the batteries make electric motors produce more than 1hp.
than yes.
I must be a knitwit too and not just stupid.
