How can I prevent that a KI solution 15% become yellow.
The raw materials are Ph.Eur. grade.

Thx
Prepare KI (iodate free) in freshly boiled and cooled distilled water.
Store it in a brown bottle to protect from light.

A few pieces of clean copper wire in the bottom of the bottle will
remove I2 as it is formed.
Note this may not be compatible with all uses of the solution.
