Washington (Reuters) - The number of U.S. workers filing claims for
initial jobless benefits fell last week and retail sales rebounded
last month from March, suggesting that the economy, while soft, was
not crumbling rapidly.
Initial claims for unemployment benefits fell to 365,000 last week
from 383,000 in the prior week, the Labor Department said. The level
was slightly LOWER than Wall Street had expected." |

Right, the guy is exactly as you so colorfully describe.
He evidently doesn't realize that the the unemployment benifts run out
for the last unemployed worker in our country, statistics will report
an unemployment rate of 0%. That's the way published unemployment
rates are computed.
