I had a hen missing and although I thought I had searched everywhere
(she is always going clucky) I couldn't find her so thought a fox may
have got her when they were let out one afternoon.
So imagine my surprise when pruning up an old wormwood this morning in
anticipation of digging it out when out from underneath came a very
vocal and alarmed hen with wings flapping. Alas all her eggs were rotten
but at least she was alive and well. Now to catch the feral thing and
lock her up...
