Human hyoid bones from the middle Pleistocene site of the Sima de los Huesos
I Martžnez cs.2008 JHE 54:118-124

.... 2 hyoid bones from the middle Pleistocene site of the Sima de los Huesos
in the Sierra de Atapuerca ... are humanlike in both their morphology &
dimensions ; they clearly differ from the hyoid bones of chimpanzees &
A.afarensis ...
.... the degree of metric & anatomical variation in the fossil sample was
similar in magnitude & kind to living humans. Modern hyoid morphology was
present by at least 530 ka = shared derived feature of the modern human &
Neandertal evolutionary lineages inherited from their LCA.

So early Homo hyoid ca 500KYA is more like modern Homo Sapiens than
australopith ca 2-4 MYA. Both derived from Pan-Homo LCA - what would
you expect?

More "human-like" than "gorilla-like" you imbecile.

Are you too stupid to make a direct quote? Yes you are because you are
an amateur.

Here is what a professional says:

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/07/0710_020710_chadskull.html
"What's most astonishing is that the facial features are like those
that we don't see until 1.8 million years ago in the genus Homo. It is
more Homo than australopithecine," he said, referring to the best-
known group of hominids, which appeared in East Africa three to four
million years ago and whose fossils have provided most of what we know
about the earliest human ancestors."

Hyoid bone in modern humans is highly derived because associated with
speech. The fact that SDLH hominids had a derived hyoid autapomorhic
with modern humans is an indication that they had evolved the ability
to speak too.

Anyone knowing anything at all about human evolution (in other words,
the "apith = human ancestors" believers) would expect that
australopith hyoids would be much less derived from the ancestral ape-
like condition. The JHE article isn't addressing that issue at all.

This is just you pushing your "idiosyncratic" reasoning which isn't
even accepted by most AAH adherents...
