Hey folks,
Everywhere I've looked, the problem of procrastination always seems to
be approached as merely a problem with the psychology of the
individual suffering from procrastination (i.e., there's something
"wrong" with YOU).
But what if it's actually a problem with your social circumstances or
a product of your past home environment? What if your resistance to
start or complete tasks is actually a positive thing, in the sense
that it's NOT something "broken" in you? That, rather, it's an
indicator of a problem in your environment?
Well, I finally found a really interesting video laying out a pretty
convincing theory along those lines, and I thought y'all would
appreciate having a chance to look it over yourselves:
Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1WC6hNTONg
For those who prefer audio only, he also put it out as a podcast,
here: http://www.freedomainradio.com/navigation/FDR_Filter_One_Page.aspx?tracks=966
Even if you disagree, at the very least, it makes for some really good
food for thought...
Thanks!
Greg.
