Hello fellows- I'm doing some research about convex mirros working in the
middle infrared (7µm-14µm, e.g. gold coated). All I found so far are mirrors
with max diameter 5cm, but I need bigger ones like 10cm and more.
Have you got suggestions for suppliers of these mirrors?
Greetings and thank you- Florian |

Finding a fabricator of the mirror substrate should not be a problem.
Probably an fabricator of large lenses or telescope mirrors should be
able to do that. Depending upon requirements, the coating might be the
problem. Even so, the optical house is likely to have their favorite
coater.
While cost is likely to be a factor, you can also spend too much time
searching for a cheap supplier.
