What are mindtraps?
The Mindtraps Mini seminar is in the process of being uploaded to the Gold
Members area right now.
Mindtraps are the little things we do ourselves to keep us trapped in where
we are. They are the excuses we use to avoid doing the things we need to
do. They are the traps that we unintentionally set inside of our mind that
can build a cage that has no escape.
What makes these mindtraps so dangerous is that they are so elusive. Many
of us have designed our lives to avoid bumping into any of our mindtraps.
So many of them could be completely invisible to us.
Let me give you the top five mindtraps that we have discovered.
Expectation -- in any situation we all have an expectation of what the
outcome can be. That expectation can turn into a trap. It doesn't matter
whether or not you're talking about expecting success are expecting failure.
Contingency -- when doing one thing depends upon another thing and you have
set a trap of contingency. Some examples of this our, when I have enough
money I will do, when I lose five more pounds than I can, after I have
success I will really try, when I have more time I will.
Comparison -- while comparing your progress to other people can be
energizing it can also be a mindtrap. Many people look at other people's
success or failure and decided to not even try. Some examples are, not
being as pretty, not being as tall, not being as smart, not being as
dedicated. When you compare yourself to somebody else and it kills your
motivation than you have fallen into a mindtrap.
Projection -- in any situation where you take your past success or failure
and inappropriately attach it to something you want to do, you have fallen
for the mindtrap of projection. Some examples are, I failed that this
before, I've done that so I don't have to try.
Perfection -- in many ways this is the biggest mindtrap. Many people will
not use a new skill because they are not yet perfect at it. This gets in
the way because in reality, nobody is ever perfect at any skill. What
happens is you end up with people who study forever and do nothing.
These five mindtraps are covered in the Mindtraps Mini Seminar. I have just
uploaded that seminar to the Gold Members area. The seminar was designed to
allow you to discover your own personal mindtraps. Until you find the
problem there is no way to generate a solution.
The seminar is posted on the front page of the Gold Members area. I would
appreciate if those of you who benefited from being at the seminar by
attending to our video seminar page on the site, would give feedback on how
the seminar benefited you.
Have fun
Tom

"We?" Don't you grasp the significance of a lamer having to use the plural
rather than admitting that he is a lonely 'soplos?'
....
Now you are lamely posting to all sorts of groups populated by people who
ignore you.
Nice life you have there. roflmaco!!
