Dear friends,

Please correct me if I am wrong ( my memory is not too good ) but I
suspect having read in some version of the bible or the koran or maybe
somewhere else that we could travel at hypersonic speeds on maglev
trains using existing 20th Century technology. Could someone enlighten
us further on this?

Tis in the Bible and this is currently being done in both Japan and
Adgartha.

Not likely.

Even if possible, no one would put up with the sonic booms.
