I found that taking a break from this group was very beneficial for me.

I even found a great clip on utube while on my break.

Nobody under the age of 50 should bother clicking this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ycgegp0KdE4

but if you're over 50, turn up the volume and enjoy...

wow. thanks. i smiled and it brought tears to my eyes.

i was pre-holly but knew who he was, but all about the beatles,
stones, joplin, hendrix, etc.
it was a great time in our history, and really formative years for our
country (i hoped and would like to think, but in the end i wonder if
it really mattered at all in the scheme of things).

anyway, a refreshing post. thanks.

At 43, I'll have to grandfather myself in.

I once heard it said that:

You know you're an old hippie if

a) you know all the words to "American Pie," or

b) you can dance to "Stairway to Heaven."

Guilty on both counts Smile

Thanks Bill. Very powerful and emotional images. I had to pick myself up off the
floor, and that was after only half a cigarette and some coffee.

Wow..... How very well done!

Thanks for posting that link!

I do disagree, though - I'm making it required viewing for my three
daughters (15 - 16). Music, visual art, history; what a mix!
