Dear colleagues,
50th IUVSTA Workshop <Toward Novel Nanostructure-based Devices> will be held
from 22nd-26th October in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Some of the topics we are going to cover are:
.. the electronic and optical properties of semiconductor nanocrystal quantum
dots and their integration into novel devices;
.. the use of hybrid organic and nanostructured materials as active
electronic elements;
.. nanostructure-based LEDs and solar cells;
.. fabrication and characterization of novel organic materials;
.. carbon nanotubes and fuellerens - synthesis, properties and applications;
.. quantum circuits-quantum computing;
.. focused ion beams and nanostructures;
.. nanostructured magnetic particles applications in ultra-high-density data
storage devices.
