Hi:

I am looking for info on a HID MH bulb packaged in a standard automotive
D2S plug.

The plug has no markings. On the outer bulb jacket are the markings:

NY6DC
N5E25

This bulb was provided to me as a bonus from a manufacturer of ballasts
for D2S bulbs which can run the arc on DC (yes, I mean the ARC on DC,
not just the ballast input voltage, which is still 12 VDC).

This DC arc is useful to folks wanting to use the D2S lamps for
scientific and high-speed photography applications that need a
no-flicker light source.

The bulb mentioned is intended to be run on DC, and has visibly
different electrode sizes.

Thanks for input.

Good day!
