Hello group.
I updated my web site with new images and videos:
- the first saturn of the year
- 2 images of the last lunar eclipse
- some large field images
- some deep-sky images (M51, M63 and M81)
- some nature pictures
All the pictures are visible from my homepage or on the section "best of"
I added also new clouds time-lapse videos, in the time-lapse section
I hope you enjoy..

Most enjoyable images. The resolution of the new

We just haven't had the seeing.
Will be posting a link to your site to some friends.
Keep up the good work.

thank you Ben;
yes, the resolution on my new DSO's is much better; the reasons are three:
1) of course the new camera
2) my experience
3) a darker sky. In my opinion this is the most important thing. An urban
sky doesn't let you to have an high S/N ratio and don't let you to use
contrast filters. With higher S/N the resolution improves a lot. I learned
that from urban sky you can get some nice images, but if you want the best
from your telescope-CCD camera-personal experience, you need a very dark
sky.

Oh, it is "testy" here too! this is the first decent image after a whole
year! the last time I saw the Airy disk on my telescope was during the last
Mars opposition...October 29th 2005...After that day, the good seeing
disappeared...I'm still looking for ;)
