Does anyone know anything about this "new" outdoor lamp technology? I
was invited to check out the presentation, but wanted some advanced
info to see if it was worth the hype and secrecy. |

Just get on to www.lighting.philips.com and do a search for Cosmopolis or
CPO lamps.
Nice use of ceramic metal halide technology, combinig long service life,
acceptable Ra and good efficacy.
We're now starting to see these used in many 'City Beautification' schemes
in the UK, especially in the 140W version.
No secrecy at all. Been around a good while now, over here at least.
