2007034------------------------
NOTICE ADVISORY TO NAVSTAR USERS (NANU) 2007034 NANU TYPE: GENERAL
*** GENERAL MESSAGE TO ALL GPS USERS ***
As result of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins in United States time zones on 11 March
2007. This is earlier than the date predicted by the traditional DST algorithm. GPS receivers that automatically
correct for DST when displaying Local Time should be checked to ensure that the proper DST correction is applied.
Software or firmware updates may be required, check with your receiver manufacturer for an update.

This issue is not known to apply to authorized military GPS receivers, since normally no such equipment performs an
automatic DST adjustment.

Civil equipment that does not perform DST corrections should not be affected. Contact the GPS Operations Center with
civil GPS equipment questions/problem reports.

Military GPS equipment does not perform an automatic DST adjustment and should not be affected. Contact the GPS
Operations Center with military GPS equipment questions/problem reports.
