Hello, my name is Mike and I am an IT Recruiter in the New England
area. I am currently looking for highly skilled and innovative 3D
graphics architects and UI/Media Feature programmers to join a
technical design and development of the core 3D graphics engine behind
our next generation weather presentation system. The team's mission is
to deliver a marketable product that will take broadcast weather

WINDOWS UI PROGRAMMER
This position is part of a small team building the user interface for
our project.
The basic job functions are:
· provide input to our product design group on user interface
specifications · working from product design specifications,
independently design and develop software which meets product
requirements · work with other team members at reviewing software
design · work with the WSI QA group on product testing issues Other
desirable experience:
· .NET environment
· visual studio
· win32
Basic requirements :
· 2+ years of experience programming graphical user interfaces.
· preferred: experience with c#
· acceptable: experience with c++ and java

REAL-TIME 3D GRAPHICS ARCHITECT
We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative 3D graphics
architect to lead technical design and development of the core 3D
graphics engine behind our next generation weather presentation
system.
This 3D graphics engine will leverage the latest 3D video card
technology to enable stunning real-time weather visualizations on live
television.
You will join our cutting edge team consisting of 12 software
engineers and 3 product designers collaborating closely together. The
team's mission is to deliver a marketable product that will take
broadcast weather graphics to the next level.
Requirements:
1. 6-8 years experience in 3D graphics or game industry 2. 2-4 years
of experience coding within the 3D graphics engine of an established
product or video game 3. 1-2 years of graphics architecture
experience; preferably having taken ownership of a 3D engine's
architecture throughout a full product lifecycle.
4. OpenGL or Direct3D, extensive knowledge of graphical data
structures and Linear Algebra 5. Extensive understanding of current
graphics hardware capabilities, such as GPU processing (shaders),
parallel graphics pipelines (SLI), video memory management 6. Ability
and desire to work within a professional software development process
with the appropriate checks and balances.
7. Ability to work alongside a product designer providing technical
feedback on usability and design specifications.
8. An aptitude for design and development of complex software systems,
including extensive knowledge of OOD and/or component-based design.
9. Experience with all stages of the development process: functional
spec review, prototyping, design, software estimation, implementation
and bug fixing.
10. Some vertical feature development expertise - from kernel work up
to the UI.
11. C / C++.
12. Strong work ethic.
13. BSCS or related degree, MSCS preferred.
Additional Skills (desired):
1. Multithreading
2. .NET / COM
3. 3D Modeler Software (3DStudio, Maya)
6-8 years experience in 3D graphics or game industry
C++ Fluency (deep OOD exp.)
API's (UI-MFC, Motif, Qt, GTK)/For C++ STL, Multithreading, COM, .NET,

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - MEDIA PRODUCTS
You will join our highly skilled and cutting edge team consisting of
12 software engineers and 3 product designers collaborating closely
together. The teams mission is to a marketable product that will take
a graphics system to the next level.
Requirements:
· Ability and desire to work within a professional software
development process with the appropriate checks and balances · Ability
to work alongside a product designer providing technical feedback on
usability and design specifications · An aptitude for and emerging
skills in designing / developing complex software systems, including
OOD and/or component-based design · Experience with all stages of the
development process: functional spec review, prototyping, design,
software estimation, implementation and bug fixing · Some vertical
feature development expertise - from kernel work up to the UI.
Objective to become a well-rounded software engineer · C / C++ ·
Strong work ethic · BSCS or related degree, MSCS preferred.
