Not meaning to sound critical, as everyone surely understands that
the corporate & government business of broadcast and cable news is
just that: for-profit and for-public-opinion-manipulation business-
as-usual. But the latest trend of 24/7 tabloid "news" is gone wild.
Thus begs the question Who is watching this irrelevant <expletives
deleted> codswallop? I spend about half my daytime life working on
my home office computers--for about the past twenty-five years and
counting. Before the 2006 mid-terms, I used to keep the television
on FOXNEWS pretty much all day long. After the mid-terms, I turned
my office TV set off for most of the daylight hours, since I've no
interest in the Anti-Christian Liberal Atheist politics of the now-
Anti-Christian Liberal Atheist [D]emocrat-controlled U.S. Congress.
And what remains of the "GOP" aren't faring much better these days.
On this subject, one of the orthodox/fundie religious channels has
been showing classic old Billy Graham crusades. I've watched a few
of them in snippets, channel-flipping between commercials on other
channels, etc. B. Graham was indisputably the 20th century's most
ardent preacher, bar none. Aside from his Uranian, "all-or-nothing"
fundamentalism, reverend Graham pretty much called a spade a spade,
i.e. until he gets to the part where he 'splains that he will have
a "say" in Saturn's perfect Judgment after the preacher man passes
away. But apart from that one always conspicuous fault, in his six
decades of preaching, Billy Graham knows no rivals as preachers go.
And we've all heard his "Sodom and Gomorrah" quote in reference to
"God owing them an apology", etc., seeing that The U.S. of America
has been going downhill ever since *Anti-Christian Liberal Atheism*
was first established as America's official State religion by USSC
decision in 1947 (God shall assuredly Judge America & the world in
His own, good time). Even so, it is rather amazing to see just how
far down to the Anti-Xian Left America is exponentially descending.
I understand that the 6.5 some-odd billion "Lucifers" of the world
want to push the Anti-Xian envelope and see just how deep they can
drag the unwary, vulnerable gentiles down with them into the Abyss.
I don't see how even a global thermonuclear war could save America
& the world at this late date, seeing that it is much too late for
the mammon-worshipping populace to repent, since they have no free-
will readily available wherewith to meaningfully repent. Therefore
Remember how you got here in the first place. Remember what you're
doing here. Remember that there are Universal Rules of conduct--no
matter how far up or down the chain of worldly success, power, and
control you may perceive yourself to be at any given time in space.
A savvy, conscientious, sovereign Astronomer observes in vigilance.
There's vastly, infinitely, more to the picture than meets the eye...
