If you are now or ever have been on any chemo regimine that had avastin
and erbitux both in it in a non clinicl trial setting, PLEASE respond to
this post with the following information: What was the whole regimine,
when was it given to you, how effective was/is it, did your insurance
company cover it, and anyother info that you can think of to validate
it.

I've heard many people on several different discussion boards stating
that they were on the avastin ebitux combo and doing well. I cannot
convince any oncologist here in Florida to try it. They all say they are
not approved for use together, that there is no proof that they have or
will work together and that they would have to be administered in a
clinical trial setting. I do not understand why I'm hearing so many
people say they are or have gotten them together yet I cannot find an
oncologist wiling to try it.

The last oncologist told me to show him proof so I am asking any who
have used them together to respond so I can print out the responses and
show them to him.

Your oncologist is looking for data from many pts in a peer-reviewed
clinical trial, or for that trial itself, not "anecdotal evidence" (a
classical oxymoron) from some dude on the internet. Have you searched
the ongoing trials data for such a trial? Docs can't just prescribe meds
'cause "we want 'em" . . . else I'd be looking into a few new ones myself.
