This could be relevant information in CFS, and low dose naltrexone,
since in CFS TGFbeta1 is consistently upregulated.

If it carries over to adult neurons in the skin, this doesn't bode well
for alcohol-based topicals. It might explain part of the dryness and
itching associated with some of these topicals. I think I may have
posted something a while back about people with allergic skin conditions
having low levels of beta-endorphin. |
