The media showed one of the entries and it was a sketch of Anne Frank in bed
with Adolf Hitler and Hitler is smoking a cigarette ( you know what that
means ) I didn't catch what the caption said, maybe there wasn't one, but
pretty sick I think !

Why? Because it's a backward medieval society, led by madmen.

If they wanted to strike out in revenge, why not make cartoons against
the Danes (there's plenty of subject matter), or the French, (again
plenty of matter) or any one of the countries that publish it.
Or Buddha (who's adherents are unlikely to riot).

The so called anti-semitic cartoons (which countries in the region
publish in state controlled media almost every day) won't offend me
personally, but I understand why the Jews would get annoyed.

I just don't see them (Jews) rioting and burning down embassies
because of a cartoon.

I would suggest that in Iran, it's freedom of expression, so go ahead.
I will continue to laugh at anti-semites (and the odd neo-nazis), as I
have done all along.

First of all, it is a ploy to distract attention away from Syria
and Iran. It has little to do with religion, and everything to
do with politics. They are "punishing" the Danes and Norwegians,
but they are largely attacking the occupying USA.

Second of all Buddhists, even devout Buddhists can be quite
militant. Lots of flavors to every religion, the more time that
passes the more "interpretations".

Oddly enough, I fail to reach a state of offense. The mere fact that I
know it's some kind of revenge thing or "show 'em what it's like" thing
would soften blow. Except that I already know there's a lot of
anti-Israel feelings in the area, I actually do support freedom of speech
and can't easily be offended by someone drawing what I suspect some people
must feel anyway, and I don't feel compelled to worship just any picture
that someone happens to draw.

If I hadn't taken the trouble to write about it, I might have muttered
something about opinions being like assholes and forgotten about it ten
minutes later.

The sicko Muslims don't draw cartoons degrading Xtians, they merely cut
their throats, beat them to death, stone them and burn their places of
worship. As an Atheist I have no sympathy for them; they should know what to

Muslin religion shows brain washing the best. It only emphasizes why
