the recently published November 2003 edition of the ESA bulletin
contains a subtle update of the Aurora programme for the exploration
of the solar system. there on page 89 you'll find a small revision of
the timetable for European astronauts to land on Mars. the original
programme called for 2030, this has now been delayed to 2040. this
does not bode well for the upcoming Bush announcement as European
involvement would surely be a part of human Mars mission.
