He's been gone long enough that we can officially speculate on his demise.
whether you hated him or loathed him you have to respect that he was one of
the usenets most successful trolls.

Depends on how you define "troll" and "successful", doesn't it?

DSH wasn't the problem. The problem was so many people responding to him.

Anyone who posts with the intention of getting a response from someone (no one in
particular) in the general audience. Example: O'Hara starting this thread.

But the OP here means - someone with a pov I don't like and others have
responded, I can't stand it as we must have a uniform pov like mine.

Son, you said "whether you hated him or loathed him", so you obviously did mind him.

I wouldn't call Otie a troll.  He/it calls attention to news stories,
and sometimes people take them up for discussion.  Jack has, and so have
I.

Dennis

Phill Colema aka Otis Willie aka Brooke Rowe spams dozens of groups to try
to get people to fall for his scam "the American War Library"  any thread he
"starts" dies after a post or two.

I'm wondering why Google Groups doesn't killfile Otis Willie?

I'm wondering why Google Groups doesn't killfile Otis Willie?

Mr Coleman{his "real" name} would just just create a new name
http://www.americanwarlibrary.com/a44/pcole.htm here is a site with a
picture of him
turn your sound off, he has a very annoying version of "God Save the Queen"
Smile playing.
