The biggest fools I've ever known are the ones about 23 to
70something. All of these people were less foolish when they were in
their very early twenties and when they were in their teens. A huge
fool who is 27 years of age is going to be even stupider when he's in
his 30s and waaaaay way way way way stupider when he's in his 70s.

I used to collect proverbs about fools. These are some things that are
behavior patterns of being a fool and what it's like being a fool:

As a dog returns to its vomit, a fool repeats his folly.

Teaching a fool is like gluing together a potsherd.

Every fool delights in his cap.

The fools thinks that all are fools.

When water will stand up without earth, the sparrow fly without wings,
the raven turn white as snow, and bitter be sweet as honey, then may
the fool become wise.

There's one proverb I think that says something about how if you ask
ten fools for their opinion about something in particular that you're
going to get ten different answers. But if you ask ten wise men,
you're going to get the same answer each time. I think I know what
book it's in. I will go check now. I'm back. It's called _Proverbs
From Around the World_. The saying goes "A hundred wise men have the
same opinion, but fools have every one of their own." It's from India.
