I'm looking for a reliable info about Ukrainian consonants. In web I can
find that Ukrainian t, d, s, z, n, ts, dz, l, r are dental/alveolar,
dental or some of them are зубно-ясенні (dento-alveolar?) while other
are just ясенні (alveolar?). Is this discrepancy just an effect of
different accuracy (i.e. some authors don't distinguish dental from
alveolar and everything between labial and palatal call dental or
dental/alveolar) or does it reflect regional or individual varieties and
in standard Ukrainian there's a free variation of the places of
articulation?

cheers
