You don't like my accurate predictions?

That "prediction" you made concerning Bush and market crashes
references a post that constitutes another one of your vague
word salads without a single reference to Shrub or any world
events that would constitute a "prediction".
"Now we enter a painful period for many as the foreclosure and economic
repercussions therefrom accelerate. Markets will crash and real estate
values plummet. This actually began in earnest with the first Mars
Opposed Pluto in September of 2007 and will accelerate with the final
one which occurs at 0 Capricorn/Cancer, if you have planets at these
degrees take precautions to protect your assets. Mars in its fall will
focus this crisis in national and personal security.
The environment contributes to the destruction with extreme weather
conditions, wherein neither the weather nor business will be as
"usual"."
Recession began December 1 2007, I posted that post November 29, 2007.

Well the problem with that is that you didn't predict anything. The
economy had been going to shit well before that.
Here's an excerpt from a U.S GAO report, issued October 16, 2007, well
BEFORE your "prediction". As you can see, they didn't need the useless,
idiotic superstition of "Astrology" to tell anyone what was happening:
http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-08-78R
"However, as of the latest quarterly data available, June 2007, more
than 1 million mortgages were in default or foreclosure, an increase of
50 percent compared with June 2005. Defaults and foreclosures on home
mortgages can impose significant costs on borrowers, lenders, mortgage
investors, and neighborhoods. Additionally, recent increases in defaults
and foreclosures have contributed to concern and increased volatility in
certain U.S. and global financial markets. These developments have
raised questions about the extent and causes of problems in the mortgage
market. To provide some insights on these issues, Congress asked GAO to
analyze (1) the scope and magnitude of recent default and foreclosure
trends, and how these trends compare with historical values, and (2)
developments in economic conditions and the primary and secondary
mortgage markets associated with these trends.
Overall, the number and percentage of mortgages in default or
foreclosure rose sharply from the second quarter of 2005 through the
second quarter of 2007 to levels at or near historical highs, but there
was significant variation among market segments, loan types, and states.
The overall default rate grew by 29 percent..."
You see? Absolutely NOTHING to do with Astrology. It isn't predicting
anything if you're just reiterating what's already known and been
reported on a month earlier. Rely on Astrology and you're going to be
too late to catch the train. Better to rely on cool, hard facts, and not
on the foul fraudulence emanating from your rotting brain-pumpkin. |

Using the equivalent of sheep's entrails is hardly a method of
"prediction", stupid. I saw the per share value of my 401k go
straight through the floor in quarters *previous* to that one,
and it doesn't take a genius - or a scatologist - to notice these
things.
Oh, and as far as the term "recession" is concerned:
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recession
"In a 1975 New York Times article, economic statistician Julius
Shiskin
suggested several rules of thumb for identifying a recession, one of
which
was 'two down quarters of GDP'. In time, the other rules of thumb were
forgotten,
and a recession is now often defined simply as a period when GDP falls
(negative
real economic growth) for at least two quarters. Some economists
prefer a definition
of a 1.5% rise in unemployment within 12 months."
Nice try at moving the goalposts concerning "prediction", idiot. And
if you
think that nonsense such as " the first Mars Opposed Pluto in
September
of 2007" actually *caused* this, you're even more delusional than I
thought.

Sacrilege!
Offal to some, but you need heart, lungs and stomach, along with some prime
meat, herbs, spices and grain to make a haggis.
Anything used, on the other hand, by Woolcock should be consigned to a
hazmat site.

These seem to be the same people (more or less, some of the characters
change over time, although the same general tone is maintained) who respond
whenever Ed posts anything. These guys absolutely love to hate Edmond
Wollman. They never seem to get tired of it. They've got web sites devoted
to jeering at him. They read his work daily with the diligence not achieved
by most professional editors. They appear relentlessly, swirling around
every post Ed sends, making each one an event in itself, like a tornado or
something. |
