Take a look at these video clips - filmed approximately 11 years apart
1974 - from his short-lived series "Kodiak", he'd recovered from a
skiing accident where he'd been impaled by his pole and his heart had
been punctured, but still looked like his old burly self.

But now see him in 1985, looks completely different - looks like the
collagen in his face has collapsed, his hair doesn't even look right
on his head. He sounds different too, speech sounds slurred.

What do you think caused this profound and rapid change in his
appearance? |

Clint was born in 1927 so he close to 60 in 1985. I saw him recently
in person and for 82, he's looking pretty good. I'd still leave my
husband for him in a heartbeat. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Clint - I've always thought he was a
naturally gifted, powerful actor but he was looking pretty rough for
57 particularly in light of how he looked just 10 years previously.
There must have been a reason his physical vitality took a serious and
obvious nosedive. I've never heard of him having a drinking problem,
wondering what it was.

The most recent video I've seen of him he actually looks healthier
than I've seen him looking in a while - certainly better than he did
when he did his "Gambler Returns" cameo where he looked really rough. |

He suffered from pituitary cancer (not sure of the year exactly) which
is what caused his one eye to go a little wonky. He lost a lot of
weight because of it and was very gaunt for a bit. He appears to be
doing fine now.
Clint is not and never has been a drinker. |
