Here's the reason for all hallows eve;
Just outside Bombay India in an eighth century temple, stands the "Mask
or Face Of Eternity" a sculpture in the center of which is the "Mask",
a face which is looking straight forward. On each side of the face of
Eternity, are two other faces-one male and one female, looking out and
away from the center. These two faces represent the duality of the
masculine and feminine (the sign polarities) when as a spirit in
physical reality, we lose transcendence. It is the integration of
polarity that brings us back to center, back to "Eden" and out of
dis-ease.
The persona described by Carl Jung is the "Mask" or false face created
psychologically by the identity to interact with physicality. It is
essentially an artificial construct by which through belief
Cardinal-identity definition), emotion (Fixed-the momentum of
energy-motion), and thought (mutable-abstraction and reflection), we
create our experiential reality.
This mask or personality construct gains MOMENTUM (e-motion-the energy
motion of belief) hence when we reach Scorpio the MASK MUST BE
DESTRUCTURIZED to enter the higher spiritual realms (SAG).
SCORPIO=the transformation (or emotional wrangling such as jealousy and
spite etc from not transforming) of perspective that occurs as the
E-MOTION or energy motion of beliefs defined at one CLASH with the
projected versions of the self and others values in 8. FEELINGS are
REACTIONS to BELIEFS-therefore the emotional intensity reflected in
Scorpio is the effect of PERSONA constructs that need to be let go
(THE MASK)
and re-cognized so that a broader view of the world and life CAN take
place in 9 and Sagittarius. Spirit See? So it is the petty (usually)
aspects of beliefs or needs that seek to reinforce ego that are in need
of transcendence. Power struggles=Pluto and Scorpio.
This is also reflected in the Yod;
The yod is formed by the inconjunct or quincunx (150 degrees) of two
planets in sextile (60 degrees) to a point opposite their midpoint. It
reflects the expansive alteration of perspective through successive
transformations of ego focus that allow for greater perceptual
awareness. Aries (ego focus-the base of the Yod) requires expanded
analytical discernement or objectified awareness in preparation to
clearly see its reflected self in Libra (Virgo inconjunct) and cognition
of the effect of the momentum of its beliefs or energy-motion (e-motion)
and the broadening of perspective through that transcendence.
Inconjuncts require adaptation and adjustment.
Hence on "ALL HALLOWS EVE" we acknowledge the "mask" and appease the
spiritual world in a (vain) attempt to "appease" the spiritual world and
allow the transformation of the persona into the higher realms to be an
amicable event-therefore transformation and the process above can be
difficult or easy depending upon the ATTITUDE of the persona when the
timing arrives for transcending the mask.
Will we be decieved (trick=Saturn) or will the fruits of transformation
lead us to the ecstasy of higher self functioning (treat=Jupiter).
That of course is always up to you because you create the reality you
are utterly as the product of what you believe and define yourselves to
be.
