What new areas of astronomy does Wikipedia not yet have an article
about ?
Please answer with any new areas you know of, and include if possible
what you think is the best book, website or other publication about
that topic. If you then decide to create a stub or article about that
topic then please reply to this message anyway, but say that you have
created an article for the new area. Thankyou. |

Wikipedia is actually pretty caught up on current astronomy terms, I
think. I checked real quick for exoplanets, scattered disk objects,
plutinos, main-belt comets (okay, that entry is still a little thin
in spots) and it looks reasonably good.
A lot of entries about specific observatories aren't all that great,
though, and it's not hard at all to find modern-day astronomers who
aren't even listed biographically.
