I have a 4 year old Embden gander and a 2 year old Muscovy/Indian
Runner duck cross (sterile hybrid probably) which I keep as pets.
Sadly I am moving and cannot take them with me. They are kept on a
small (20m square) plot to the rear of my house in Wigan. If anyone
can take them as pets I would be most grateful. Please email me in the
first instance if you can help. I will bring them to you if within 30
miles or so.
Thanks

I suggest you join Freecycle, a yahoo group. It is about offering and
asking for stuff that is no longer needed by the original owner, e.g.
someone might ask for some roofing iron to complete a chicken house, or
someone post to offer the netting left over from building their new pen.
There are groups in many part of the world so there is a fair chance
that there is one in your area. People often have "rubbish" that's too
(potentially) useful to throw out - if only they or some they know had a
use for it NOW because there are domestic mutterings about the amount of
Stuff cluttering up the place and they can't keep it forever....
