Would people who say "God told me to" do this or that such as running for a
political office be diagnosed as schizophrenic? Where do the voice come
from?

Not by todays benchmark. However, I hope with the continuing
enlightenment of the human race, one day we will be able to rid
ourselves of the delusion of religion. Maybe in the future there will
be treatment for it.
To be precise, I don't know if there is a god or not, and neither do
you. And since there is no way to ever know, why talk about it?
Everything that has ever been written about it all throughout the ages
was written by people who are as much in the dark about it as you and
I. And reasoning doesn't help either. So why live your life by other
peoples vision of what god wants? |

stuck in the loop over squabbling over who's right and wrong.. but we
need to get past this before we can take the next step.
Exposing the CoS is the first step. Then getting people to understand
you can have morals without someone else first having to impose them on
you. I say practice religiously what you want as long as it doesn't hurt
people(or their well-being), affect research or affect politics (all of
which CoS has, and does do). If what you are doing isn't moral you'll
find a hell of a lot of people will also disagree.
Scientologists who don't think the CoS is responsible for any of the
above are free to think that, but by opening their eyes and thinking for
themselves they might see everything they thought they knew was wrong.

I think only one religion in the world is even worse because religion
is a kind of brainwashing. We need differing views to loosen the grip.

I'm not so sure about that. I think people should do what ever they
see fit and let natural selection sort us out. I don't want to impose
my own sense of moral righteousness on others because I don't assume
my way of looking at things is the right way. It is very possible we
need people to do the wrong thing as much as we need people to do the
right thing. Afterall, if someone didn't flaunt societies conventions
in the first place we never would have ventured down from the trees.

Scientology was never a religion in the first place. LRH registered it
as one to get around the law preventing pyramid marketing. He was also
diagnosed as a schizophrenic and I suspect his theory about alien wars
was probably an experiment in brainwashing people. He was probably
sitting in his study one night thinking to himself "I wonder if I can
get people to believe in this?". Maybe he was just deluded. I don't
know. Scientology is just a rip off of psychology anyway. |

their policies or not exist and give people the real chance to find
their own answers to life, like CoS advertises, but does not deliver.
I am a Freethinker, I feel everyone has the right to think whatever
