what web pages would one go to or
what terms would one google to find out how to find the over all long
term growth rate of an investment portfolio over say 10 years. The
portfolio has say 8 streams with irregular additional investments and a
few irregular withdrawals?

Hi Art. Searching on <future value calculator> gives lots of hits.
Maybe you'll find something useful there.
