could someone please translate the following quotation from a book. words
between stars *...* are not german and should be left as is. atu" stands
for Old Turkic and tu" stands for Turkic or Turk(s). e-mail is prefered.
here is the quotation:
GIRAUD (...) mo"chte schon atu". *ko"k tu"rk* als 'himmelische Tu"rken'
auffassen, was sich schon deutlich im Titel seiner Arbeit ausspricht
(*L'Empire des turcs celestes*) jedoch is dies sicher ein Anachronismus.
Wir u"bersetzen 'das o"stliliche Staatsvolk'(='das Staatsvolk des tu".
