We would like to briefly indicate that the latest (December 2008)
issue of the SIPTA newsletter has been available at the website
of the Society for Imprecise Probability: Theories and Applications
http://www.sipta.org
and that it contains material that may be of interest to this
community:
- The second part of an interview with prominent philosopher
Isaac Levi, on the genesis of his thinking about indeterminate
probabilities.
- Announcements for ISIPTA '09 and other events and papers,
including the recent addition of an electronic version of
Kuznetsov's
book 'Interval Statistical Models' to the SIPTA web site
- A description of the DecideIT tool for interval
probabilistic and multi-criteria decision problems.
